Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 6:00-9:00 pm Take advantage of the bounty of summer by cooking with fresh produce at its peak. Fresh, local produce is more healthy, environmentally-friendly, flavorful, and often cheaper! Colorado's growing season is short, so cook from the farmers' markets while you can and feel good about eating locally. Ages 16 and up. Instructor: Mary Sample menu: roasted tomato soup, corn pudding, squash and tomato gratin, roasted pork tenderloin with poached plum sauce, fresh peach cobbler.
