If you're just getting into cooking or want to learn the reasons behind common techniques, this two-session hands-on class incorporates all the fundamentals. Come learn everything you need to know to cook with confidence, including how to have fun doing it! We'll cover knife skills, how to cook meats and vegetables, and the basics of baking while making lots of great recipes that you'll be excited to try at home. We'll also discuss essential equipment for any kitchen, how to choose good recipes, and how to improvise in the kitchen. Ages 16 and up. Instructor: Mary
